Cermet Materials

SPF 131 Series

(100% Silver)

Cermet's 100% Ag SPF131 powder is a controlled ratio of powder and flake. It is designed primarily for use in external metallizations for passive components.

Controlling the flake to sphere ratio offers excellent fired density at 500 - 600oC. The low sintering temperature and excellent plating characteristics are specifically designed for use with the new generation of ULF dielectrics being introduced into the market for MLCC production. SPF131 has had good success at low firing temperatures, resulting in dense terminations and no difficulties plating

Cermet 100% Ag metal powders are also available with with a variety of organic and inorganic coatings to affect shrinkage, oxidation, and wetting characteristics.

This page contains a brief summary of the physical properties of this powder. A more detailed analysis may be obtained by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page.
